Gorgeous Rosa & Co

I recently styled a gorgeous photographic shoot and the theme was "Vintage & Diamonds" for Pure Weddings Magazine.
I knew I wanted some gorgeous flowers to involve within the shoot, especially Roses, and I knew exactly what colours I wanted.
Dusky pinks, silvery greens, antique ivories & any other colour palette that would suit the whole Vintage theme.
Through my work as a Wedding Planner and Stylist I get to meet some wonderful people within the Wedding Industry and all are so very talented.
One of these lovely people is Jan from Rosa & Co
A gorgeous florist who knows her stuff and creates beautiful wedding bouquets as well as displays for any Bride and Grooms special day.
These lovely flowers are just a few of the ones we used to photograph.
The professional images are coming soon, but for the time being I wanted to share with you all some lovely images of the flowers that Jan kindly let me bring home, and which have been delightful to admire in our little cottage.

Spring Flowers

I have been away skiing in beautiful Chamonix in France, hence my absence for a while.
It is always lovely to go away, but just as lovely to come home, especially when you come home to lots of lovely flowering Spring flowers.
Here are some little beauties I have picked and have around our lovely home.
Spring flowers are really beautiful, delicate and for me, always seem to have the most vivid colours.
This Spring so far has been lovely and a welcome change to the beautiful but cold winter we have all just had.
May this glorious weather continue.
Happy Weekend to you All.

♡ A Romantic Retreat for Two ♡

This gorgeous Log Cabin is a real treat for couples who are after a romantic break away.
Set in the most beautiful countryside, with gorgeous river walks near by where you often see Kingfishers and Fresh Water Trout, it is a fabulous, romantic place for two to visit & relax.
This lovely Log Cabin retreat is owned & run by my lovely Mum, Janet.
In the summer months you are more than likely to find left on your very own private veranda some gorgeous flowers from the garden, a pot of home made jam or basket full of freshly laid eggs from her girls
(Her chickens who all have names & the most luxury chicken log cabin all to themselves).
This self catering accommodation is really lovely with it's own private drive way, garden, and veranda, perfect for sitting and relaxing on with a glass of wine on a wonderful summers evening.
Furnished inside with lovely shabby chic, comfortable furniture and a fully working kitchen.
A lovely little gem nestled in the beautiful North Wales Countryside.

Magical Cupcakes

I have recently been doing some fabulous vintage styling for a top wedding magazine.
I am lucky enough with my work to have a whole list of fabulous suppliers to work with and on this occasion I was after some gorgeous cupcakes.
I knew the style and design I wanted and contacted the lovely
who I knew made the prettiest cakes.
What I wanted was to have pretty cakes in beautiful muted, soft colours with Roses & other pretty flowers & pearls.
These beautiful cup cakes were just what I was hoping for ... So wonderfully pretty and delicate.
They played a huge part in the shoot and the fabulous, professional images will be coming to you all soon.
However in the mean time, I have taken these photos of these gorgeously pretty and delicious little beauties.
I am sure you will love them just as much as I do.

I adore Country Living

I have a wonderful, beautiful sister Clare.
We live far apart from each other but keep in touch on a regular basis and it is always lovely to have a catch up on what each of us are doing.
She is an amazing woman, and I am so very proud of her for lots of reasons.
You don't ever hear my sister moan or be mean about others ... she is always bright,  great fun and very kind.
Only recently did I find in my little post box my favourite Country Living Magazine.
I love this monthy publication as it is full of gorgeous gardens, fabulous homes and beautiful styling idea's.
It turns out my lovely sister Clare has set up an annual subscription to this lovely magazine just for me.
So here I am on this beautiful Sunday morning in March, with my fresh cup of coffee & Country Living Magazine and its all thanks to my gorgeous little sis'.
Thank you Clare .... you're the best sister ever.

A Magical Morning

We wake up very early in our house.
Being surrounded by woods and tree's means the little birds at this time of year wont allow you to have a lie in, the Dawn Chorus is very loud.
Still it means you are up when all is still and wonderful.
Yesterday morning was a very special morning.
Not a cloud in the bright blue sky and so very lovely & still.
Our resident Woodpecker was busy pecking away in our lovely very old Ash Tree.
In our wood opposite I saw our beautiful resident White Deer and all of her lovely friends.
She is really so very special and almost magical in her appearence.
This time she was literally feet away from me and we both looked at each other for quite a while.
I feel so very lucky to share my home with these wonderful, enchanting animals.
Quite wonderful .....  a beautiful start to my day.

Beautiful Dusky Pink Faux Rose Lavender Bags

I adore old vintage fabrics.
Beautiful, slubby linens, delicate lace with it's fine detailing, and pretty faded fabrics.
Even if a little worn I still adore them, and love making pretty things out of them.
These lovely lavender bags are so very lovely.
Made from Vintage French linen bought on one of my many trips to this wonderful country, pretty lace and these wonderful dusky pink faux fabric Roses.
All have wonderful tiny details sewn on, such as antique Mother of Pearl Buttons, faux pearls and crystals and twinkly Rhinestones.
All are handmade and all are totally individual.
These are lovely as Favours for your ladies on your special day.
They also make gorgeous presents, perfect for Mothers Day.
Beautiful, individual and unique Gifts and Favours from Sweet Days and Roses.
