Vintage Duck Egg Blue Enamel Jug & Flowers

Oh What a lovely weekend it has been, and what a cracking Bank Holiday Monday morning this is already.

The sun is out and all of the garden is looking full and gorgeous and about to burst into colour.

I have even heard a Cuckoo for the first time in a very very long time.

I had to share with you all this gorgeous vintage enamel jug I recently bought which has to be my favourite of colours.... a beautiful duck egg blue shade and considering it is vintage it is remarkably good condition.

I have crammed it full of some gorgeous cottage garden flowers.

However some of these pretty flowers are in fact faux flowers but look so so life like.

I just adore Cow Parsley but it has a habit of dusting everywhere with its tiny little flowers, so faux cow parsley it is, and it looks fab !!

Forget me Not

This week is a special week as it is the build up to the wonderful Royal Wedding of HRH William & Kate Middleton.

I am really so excited to see how beautiful this gorgeous, happy and fresh faced young woman is going to look.

I truly believe that these two are going to have a loving happy life together as they both look so happy and in love.

A week to not forget, what better native little flower out at the moment to enjoy than the beautiful little Forget me Not.

I just adore this little flower which is so very delicate yet so vibrant and striking in its swathes of blue.

I even have a pink Forget me Not in the garden at the moment which is equally so very lovely.

A gorgeous little flower to brighten up any garden or bridal bouquet.

Here's to a week to remember, a Forget me Not week in the making.

Fabulous o&c Photography

I get to meet & work with some amazingly talented people with 

 Sweet Days and Roses.

Two such super clever folks are the gorgeous Charis and Owen Warrell of

o&c Photography.

Charis and Owen are a husband and wife team who take the most beautiful photography.

Both are such wonderful people:  relaxed, creative, fun, totally professional and basically all round good eggs !!

I just adore their work. 

These images just show how clever they both are with a camera, and as the saying goes:

 "The camera never lies"

I feel very lucky to know and work with such awesome talent.

"Vintage & Diamonds" Shoot Part 2

I am now able to share with you all the stunningly beautiful professional images from our gorgeous "Vintage & Diamonds" Shoot thanks to the wonderful and talented Matthew Stansfield.

Matthew is so, so good at his profession.... these images are just so beautiful and capture the whole mood and look of the theme.

Against the soft, aged background of all my beautiful vintage pieces and stunning Roses & pretty cupcakes, these amazing pieces of jewellery stand out beautifully.

Working with Matthew was just wonderful, he is so calm, relaxed, fun and totally professional. We had a great day together and I am delighted to have worked with him.

I think you will all agree that these images are truly Gorgeous.

Pure Weddng Magazine Feature

Sweet Days and Roses was so delighted to be asked to style some gorgeous Diamond Jewellery for a top Jewellers & Pure Weddings Magazine, and all set withing a gorgeous Vintage Theme.

I knew instantly the look I wanted to create, soft muted colours, beautiful trinkets, vintage china, gorgeous flowers and pretty cupcakes.

The photographer was the amazing Matthew Stansfield who's work is simply wonderful.

I was lucky enough to choose all of the gorgeous pieces for the shoot, and as Diamonds are a Girls Best Friend, I found some gorgeous jewels.

Here are some images from the magazine taken by Matthew, and a few pretty images taken by myself.

Matthew is soon to send over to me some more images from the lovely day, but until then this will give you an idea of how fabulous the day was.

Antique Rose Swag Fire Surround

I have to share with you all this beautiful Fire Surround that I bought a while ago and which was in need of some loving TLC.

I just fell in love with it straight away... I adore the Rose Swag on the front and knew that I could give it a little bit of Janey love to bring it back to being a beauty once more.

Sadly I do not have a fire place that suits this gorgeous antique and therefore I am selling it.

I so hope I find it the loving home it deserves.

A gorgeous piece and so very elegant.
