Our wonderful stay at Raymond Blanc's Le Manoir x

We stayed last week at the fabulous Le Manoir, nestled in the picturesque Oxfordshire village of Great Milton which is renowned as one of Britain's finest gastronomic experiences. It is also one of the country's most intimate and original hotels,  with the most beautiful rooms and suites.
Created by celebrated chef Raymond Blanc, Le Manoir has been delighting guests since 1984. A year later it was awarded two Michelin stars, which it has now held for a remarkable 28 years.  Surrounded by lawns, flower borders and orchards, Le Manoir enjoys an idyllic setting. Beyond the eye-catching displays are vegetable and herb gardens that provide the kitchen with ultra-fresh, and often exotic, produce that helps keep the kitchens at the cutting edge of taste.
Our stay was just so lovely, with a candle lit Christmas Choir concert in the evening, with guest speak John Seargent. Fabulous food and beautiful surroundings.
We had a wonderful suite and everyone who works at this lovely Country House looked after us so amazingly.
Here are a few images to share with you all of our wonderful stay at the gorgeous Le Manoir, we will be sure to be return.

Christmas Loveliness

I love this time of year....when you get the house all pretty and twinkly and festive.
I have been drying our lovely Hydrangea flowers for a while now and have made our front door wreath from the gorgeous dried pom pom flower heads.... it really looks lovely on our front door.
I also adore Hyacinths at Christmas as their scent makes the house smell wonderful.
Pretty violets in an old antique urn, their colour is simply amazing.... and the all important home made Mince Pies... made from my husbands 150 year old family recipe... they are DELICIOUS !!
A wonderful time of year for all that is beautiful to be on show.

Wonderful, Wonderful Copenhagen x

My wonderful husband Andy decided a few weeks ago to take me to the gorgeous city of Copenhagen for the weekend ... and so off we went last weekend.
I adore this city, so full of life and beautiful buildings, interiors and quite simply the best restaurants and food in Europe.
We ate at the wonderful Noma, voted the top restaurant in the World right now, and stayed in the stunning Nimb Hotel.
The Nimb Hotel is right beside the gorgeous Tivoli Gardens.
This beautiful hotel is so stylish, our room was simply gorgeous and elegant & the lounge area where we could have afternoon tea or evening cocktails was divine.
A wonderful few days away in this gorgeous city.
As always my darling Mr B sure knows how to make a girl happy.
Hope you love sharing our time away with me.
